Thataways Youth Center

Thataways Youth Center is located at 1331 Overbrook Road and is part of the Burlington City Park. Recent renovations include updated bathrooms, paint, floor, and office space. The facility is home of the Burlington Youth Council and the Teen To Teen Theatre and has something to offer every age.

Rentals are commonly attracted to Thataways. It serves as a great place for family reunions, wedding receptions, birthdays, or any event that you can think of. Thataways can add music to any occasion or event from a library of songs. The facility houses 2 pool tables, 2 foosball tables, and multiple arcade games to keep you occupied.

Hunter Education Course

Saturday, February 10, March 10, or April 14 • 9 AM - 4 PM
Cost: Free
Ages: 12 and up recommended
The course is designed to promote the safe handling of firearms and archery equipment, teach responsible, ethical conduct by hunters, education sportsmen in the various methods and the proper use of equipment harvesting game, and endorse the importance of wildlife management laws and regulations. Participants will receive their Hunter's Safety Certification and badge after passing a written exam. FOr more information, or to register visit Participants must be registered. 

Breakfast with The Easter Bunny

Saturday March 24 • 8-10 AM
Available to all ages
Course Fee: $5 per person
Celebrate the holiday enjoying breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Activities available that day will include arts and crafts, face painting, and the Easter Bunny! The BYC will have a bake sale table to support a local community program. DOn't forget your camera! Breakfast will include coffee, orange juice, biscuit, and fruit! Pre-registration is required; no walk-ins day of event; space is limited. Register by March 16th here.
