    Winter Walkabout - Cedarock Park Grab a friend and get out for a walkabout in the woods! During this special 3 mile hike, we'll be on the look out for Christmas Ferns and Mistletoe! Expect natural surface trail over rolling terrain with a few steep hills. Wear comfortable walking shoes or boots. Bring a water bottle and an extra layer. Trekking poles recommended. Suitable for ages 6+ (ages 6-16 must be accompanied by an adult). Dogs welcome! Hike starts at 2:30 so arrive a few minutes before.

    No-Frills Trail 5K - Just $5! The No-Frills Trail 5K is a series of trail runs (or hikes, walks or whatever speed you'd like). We just want people to get out, move and have a good time! Since this is not a fancy 5k, we’ll only be providing a well-marked 5K course and a clock so you can see your time as you finish. Registration and fees will be taken on race day. So...     Trail Work Day Come help spruce up the trails at Town & Country Park - a little treasure tucked away along the banks of the Haw River in Burlington. Help remove debris from the trail, rake leaves, improve trail tread, cut back branches, and pick up trash. Wear sturdy, closed toed shoes and dress in layers for the weather.
