Summer Youth Tours

We have concluded our tours for Summer 2019. Hopefully, we will be providing this program again next summer. Please check back for more information and potential dates closer to Summer 2020. Everyone who attended had a great time and learned a lot. If you were unable to attend, we do offer tours of the department to individuals and groups. More information on tours of the department can be found here.

High School Students and Job Shadowing:

The Burlington Police Department has several times worked with local high schools to allow interested students shadow officers to learn more about working in law enforcement. Most recently, students joined officers at the BPD's training facilities. Students were able to do a driving course, the firearm simulator, and examine a simulated crime scene. Read more about it and watch videos here.
